Our Origin Story
ISSS started in 1992 as a machine supplier to the garment industry. Through our close interaction with factories, we realised that apart from machines, industries also need systems and solutions for cost cutting and quality improvement.
Compared with electronic chip manufacturing, automobile and other advanced industries, the garment industry lags behind in process automation, skill development, long term planning and research. We identified the need to bring proven concepts from other industries such as Theory of Constraints (TOC), data digitisation, departmental goal alignment and long term investment in skill development to the garment sector.
With this vision, ISSS started developing practical solutions that can cut cost and improve quality for apparel manufacturers.
